Placing an accumulator bet with Betfred can increase your odds of winning when you bet on a market. Pitch Invasion will give you all the details you need to know in order to navigate the football accumulator bet system from start to finish.
Betfred’s Football Betting Rules
Unless it is specified, football bets are settled on the standard 90 minutes of play. This is the match time plus any injury time with the exception of extra-time, gold/silver goal, or penalties.
For Draw No Bet, it is based on 90 minutes of play only, so if the match ends in a draw, bets are void. Similarly if the match is abandoned, bets will be void. You may have an unlimited number of selections.
In this bet, only 90 minutes of play qualify for the correct score bet. Extra time does not count, and separate prices are offered by Betfred for domestic vs. European or International matches.
Therefore, if the domestic prices are accidentally given for European or International matches, then wagers are to be settled at the correct price for the European or International matches.
Double result best are accepted on play only, to 90 minutes. Extra time will not count. This type of betting is available upon request for most matches, and singles and upwards is accepted. In order to make this bet, players must select the result at half time and at full time. The selections are then void if the match is abandoned before 90 minutes of play has finished.
When a midweek match is postponed or changed and played on a different day than advertised on the Betfred website, the match is considered void on the day of the postponement. If a weekend match is postponed or the date of play changed, that match will also be deemed void on the day of postponement.
In situations where a match is postponed or abandoned, all bets are valid if the match is played within 48 hours of the original date and time – except for first goal scorer wagers. These wagers will stand, providing the first goal was scored, and half time bets will also stand providing that the first half has been completed.
In the occasion where a change of venue occurs, all wagers shall still stand unless the change of venue means that the away team becomes the home team. If this occurs, all selections on the match are void.
First/Last Goal Scorer
Goalscorer best are only accepted on 90 minutes of play. The extra time does not count, and if a match is abandoned before 90 minutes of play time is complete, then the first goalscorer wagers stand so long as a definite result for the market was determined prior to the abandonment.
The last goalscorer wagers in this situation will be void (own goals do not count). The first/last goalscorer is determined by the Press Association, which supplies football statistics at the conclusion of a match. Should there be a dispute as to first or last goalscorer, all wagers are settled using Press Association statistics only.
If this occurs, Betfred refunds all first goalscorer wagers on players who took no part or came on to the field after the first goal had been scored. Players who have already started a match are now runners, whether they are on or off pitch when the first goal is scored.
For last goalscorer purposes, a player who plays for any part of 90 minutes is a ‘runner’. Own goals do not count.
The total card points are 10 for a yellow card, 25 for a red card. Maximum points per player and match are 35 (25+10), whether or not a player is shown two yellow cards and then a red. Cards issued to a player after he has been substituted do not count for settlement.
All football specials, boosts, and enhanced bets are singles only unless it is otherwise specified. If any enhanced boots, doubles, trebles or accumulators have a postponed or abandoned match, the bet then reverts to the last 90-minute match odds for all the rest of the selections.
In Anytime goalscorer multiples, bets are void for any player who fails to start – whether they later score or not. For next manage markets, an interim, temporary, carektaker, or end of season appointment will not count for next manager markets.
