The second semi-final will see England and Denmark go head to head. The English will surely have home advantage but they will still have to be wary of the Danes who have had strong moments throughout this Euro.

Before the match: England vs Denmark
England
England has not conceded a goal since the beginning of this Euro. However, they have never seemed to be in total control either. They eliminated Germany in the Round of 16 and now have what seems to be a reasonably easy path to the final. On top of that, they will be able to enjoy being at home for the two games: the semi-final and the potential final.
Denmark
The Danes had a dramatic start to Euro 2021 and used it as ground zero of their competition. Since then they have been performing well and are the “darlings of the public”. They will shoot their shot in this semi-final and will count on their collective strength to face the English.
England vs Denmark: Match Analysis
England: The Lions Will Roar
England has been slow to get going in the tournament but now look untouchable, especially as they will be playing at home in front of a 75% capacity stadium. In the group stage, they finished first, before outclassing Germany in a match that was vital for both nations. We finally saw their striker, Harry Kane, play like we know he can in the match against Ukraine. The Tottenham centre forward’s performance was lacking during the first stages of the competition but his revival will be essential for England at the end of this tournament.
Denmark: So close to the top
The Danes are in the semi-finals of Euro 2021, who would have thought them capable of that after the first match? Surely not many people. No doubt that the drama of the first match has welded the team together and allowed them to excel when it really counted. Kasper Hjulmand’s men were miraculous in the group stage, qualifying after losing their first two games. They then easily defeated Wales before winning a hard-fought match against the Czechs. They will, unashamedly, give a clinical performance against the English if the Three Lions give them a chance.
Latest Meetings Between England and Denmark
In the last 12 meetings, five have gone in England’s favour, three have ended in a draw and Denmark have won four. In 2020, the teams met twice in the Nations League. Neither of the matches went in England’s favour: they drew in Denmark, and they lost 1-0 at home. This suggests that the match will be a good one.
