If you really want to develop your betting skills, accumulator betting is the way to go. Here you’ll find all information you need for placing a Bet365 accumulator bet.
Step 1 – Choosing your selections
First thing’s first, you will need to know which bets you want to select.
Head over to the information pages for the sport(s) that you are interested in for the full selection.
Bet365 offers a wealth of sporting data to assist their customers in making the right bets and they cover a huge range of sports in addition to staples such as football and horse racing.
Step 2 – Finding the events of your choice
If you are on the Bet365 website, use the panel on the left-hand side to choose the relevant sport and then the event you are interested, e.g. the Champions’ League.
This will open up a list of specific events, in this case football matches and the associated events on which you can bet. From the app, you press the A-Z icon at the top left to see a list of sports.
In principle you can create accumulators across a range of sports; which could be of interest at events such as the Olympics, Winter Olympics and the Commonwealth Games.
For example you might want to base your accumulator on the performance of a particular country or countries rather than focusing on a particular athlete or sporting discipline.
Step 3 – Creating your bet slip
Each event will have the relevant odds in yellow next to it. As in the example below: Home Team A vs. Away Team B
Here 1 means a win for the home team (Team A) and 2 means a win for the away team (Team B) while X is a draw.
Just click on the relevant odds (4.00, 3.50 or 2.05) to have your bet placed into your betting slip.
Each bet you place will show up in its own little box and you will see an X at the top, left-hand corner of this box.
Bonus tip: If you want to remove the bet, just click on this X. If, for any reason, you want to start over again completely, just click “Remove All” at the bottom left of the list of bets.
Step 4 – Marking the bet as an accumulator
Underneath your last selection, there is a right arrow pointing to the option “Multiple Bet Options”.
Here you need to look for the option X folds, where X is the number of events in your accumulator. You will see that the unit is marked as 1 because an accumulator is a single bet with several events within it.
One of the ways in which Bet365 makes life easier for its customers is by making it possible for people to see the odds for accumulators in the bet slip itself before they enter their stake.
The odds for the accumulator as a whole are given just under the X folds text. This gives you a simple way to make sure that you are happy with your bet, in the sense that the risk is justified by the reward on offer.
Remember that you still have the opportunity to return to your selections and make changes if you feel you could create a more beneficial betting opportunity.
Step 5 – Enter your stake and place your bet
Once you’re happy you have everything how you want it to be, enter your chosen stake in the empty box to the right of the X folds identifier and hit the yellow “Place Bet” button to the bottom right of the screen.
Useful Information: The “My Bets” section next to the betting slip keeps a record of all bets in progress. Once a bet is completed, won or lost, it is moved to the history tab.
Now you’ve aced accumulator bets, get started with in-play betting on Bet365.
