A Weekend in the Big Apple

It’s a holiday weekend here in the United States, and Pitch Invasion won’t be updated until Tuesday as your editor is off to New York City for various festivities and a football match.

I’ll be at the Chicago Fire game in the Meadowlands against the New York Red Bulls on Sunday, so expect a report on how that MLS grudge match turns out early next week.

If any readers are going to be at the game, look for the Fire fans tailgating in the lot to find me and say hello.

    I’ll be at the match, as I always am, supporting the home side. It should be a great, intense game. If I happen to see your tailgate, maybe I’ll stop by. I look forward to your post-match report which – hopefully for me – will be detailing a win for New York!
