As the Unibet app review will highlight, the firm’s colour scheme and bonus for new sports customers aren’t the best. That said a comprehensive range of markets and live streaming being available are positives for sure. The layout looks similar to other apps we’ve encountered which makes it easy to use.

System Requirements and Compatibility
A 3G or 4G signal (if you’re not on WiFi) is required to download the app onto mobile phones. Accessing either the iTunes store or the Google Play store directly from your mobile or tablet will make the download quick and easy and links are available from the Unibet.
Sports, casino, live casino and poker apps are all available to download with Unibet. As well as Android, the apps are available for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch users too and can be downloaded from the Unibet site or from iTunes and Google Play.
The interface is good and it’s easy to navigate. The same can be said of Unibet’s mobile website and there are no restrictions versus using desktop. The same Unibet promo code or at least the opening ‘offer’ is available upon registering via the app or mobile.
Bonus available and how to get it
By creating a new account with Unibet, you can qualify for a £30 refund if your first bet loses as well as gaining access to Unibet TV. The offer doesn’t require you to enter a traditional Unibet promo code as such, as the offer is open to all who start a new account.
The money back offer only really works if you play major stakes, especially if you want to withdraw fairly soon. Major T&C’s to look out for are:
- To withdraw refunded stakes, you must wager it 3 times, i.e. if you have received the full £30 money bonus you must wager £90 before being able to withdraw
- Only bets made at 2/5 (1.4) can count
- Deposit at least £10 and opt in to qualify
- Bonus expires after 30 days of accepting the promotion
Unibet App Features
Our Unibet app review shows up some of the key features of their mobile presence, the interface itself looking very similar to that of competitors. Although the Unibet app works basically similarly to the Unibet mobile site, the app is easier to use on the move. Some of the main features are:
In-Play Betting & Live Streaming
Upon opening the Unibet app, the In-Play icon can be found on the top left; clicking this will show events taking place live with a full range of betting and streaming options. The top of the in-play section screen allows you to search for various sports, football, as usual, being the most popular and easiest to find.
Fast User Interface
We can’t underestimate the importance of this; when using the Unibet app it is expected that we are betting on the go. The Unibet app review therefore appreciates how fast it is to place a bet. From opening up the app, tapping on the desired market and placing a bet you will have spent just a matter of seconds.
Is there a promo code currently available?
The Unibet opening offer, which doesn’t need a physical code entered, entitles new signups to up to £30 refunded stakes after placing a first bet.
Who can claim the promo code offer?
All new signups on the web can claim this offer.
Is there a bonus for Unibet mobile users?
No, but all other bonuses are offered on the mobile site and apps.
Can I claim this bonus in addition to other offers?
Not as such. The money back offer is exclusive, though other bonuses on casino and games can be claimed too.
I can’t seem to obtain the bonus, what should I do?
Check the eligibility requirements on the Unibet website, otherwise contact Unibet customer services.
How Can I Bet Using The Unibet App?
For the sake of this review we’ve used the example of placing a football bet. Simply follow these steps:
- Open the Unibet app from the icon on your home screen
- Login from the icon on the top right of the screen
- Tap on your chosen sport or market
- Tap on your chosen event
- Tap on your chosen bet from a comprehensive range of markets
- Enter your stake when the box appears and click ‘place bet’
How Can I Manage Payments Using The App?
Deposits and withdrawals are handled via credit or debit card (Visa and Mastercard), bank transfer, Skrill or Neteller. Deposit minimums are £5 for all payment methods and there are no fees.
Withdrawals have a minimum at Unibet of £10-£15 but are relatively quick; 24-48 hours usually.
|Payment method||Minimum deposit||Transaction fee||Processing time|
The deposit methods are fairly comprehensive, fast and with fair minimums at £5. The only negative on the banking options the £10-£15 minimums for withdrawal, something that may alienate the smaller gambler used to placing minimal bets in high street shops.
Are Other Unibet Apps Available?
Sports, casino, live casino and poker apps are all available to download and each with their own bonuses and promotions.
The interface is good on all versions and the layout is familiar. The same can be said of Unibet’s mobile website and there are no restrictions versus using desktop. The same Unibet promo code or at least the opening ‘offer’ is available upon registering via the app or mobile.
Overall rating: 3/5
The Unibet sports app is a decent product but lacks something in a couple of key areas. Despite not being the domain of the professional gambler, Unibet’s app with its high minimum withdrawals and £90 stake requirement to withdraw from the intro offer may alienate the smaller punter.
|?Good live streaming schedule||?£15 minimum on withdrawals|
|?Good mobile app||?Large stake required to reap benefits of bonus|
|?Good range of in-play markets||?Bad colour scheme|
Unibet’s presence has grown and they have a stable product, but it’s one they can improve on. The colour scheme is a little off-putting (green, green, green) and that affects this app although the service is good when asking questions. Remember that new customers only can take advantage of up to £30 money back offer and need stake at least as much on signing up.
