Ten months ago he signed at Inter for almost 30 million euros, having impressed with Santos. Less than a year later, the Nerazzurri are eager to loan him out, and according to his agent, the interested clubs are neither few nor small.
Inter want to send him out on loan and there are several teams interested, both in Spain and in England
Wagner Ribeiro, Gabigol’s agent told Portuguese newspaper Record, who basically wanted to know if there is any truth in the rumors that Porto are among the clubs who have moved to strike a loan deal with Inter.
Nobody has called me from Porto, so that is a lie
Ribeiro said over that. Gabriel Barbosa, which is the real name of the Brazilian striker, made just nine appearances in the Serie A this season, all as a substitute, and scored just one goal.
Adding injury to insult, towards the end of the season, he just got up and left the bench of Inter during a game versus Lazio, when he realized that he wouldn’t get any game time.
Later on he apologized to the team and the fans, but his behavior has not been forgotten.
