Unlike some former and even current teammates of his who saw/see Tottenham as a stepping stone to a bigger club, Harry Kane seems to have his own way of seeing things, anything but ruling out the possibility of spending his entire career at Spurs.
I’d love to be a one-club man. It depends on how the club goes forward and managers et cetera, but I’ve said I want to stay here, as we’re in a great place at the moment
the Tottenham striker told reporters ahead of the London side’s huge game against Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday.
The training centre is amazing, the new stadium is coming, the manager is fantastic and we’ve got a young team. So it’s great
Kane said, explaining why he is so excited about being at Tottenham these days, and also what makes him picture himself at the club for many-many years to come.
As for repeated rumours about Tottenham players being targeted by some of Europe’s top clubs, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and not only, the England international urged Tottenham’s fans to look at the bright side of it.
Should fans be worried? No, I don’t think so. We’re all very happy here and have signed long-term contracts. Rumours can be compliments as it shows we’re doing good as a team but we don’t take any notice of them, we’ve got a job to do here
was Kane’s comment.
