This time it was Everton’s moves in the transfer market that gave him… inspiration to laugh at the Toffees, taking to twitter, posting a photo of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp having a funny cap/umbrella on his head.
When Everton sign 4/5 players but none of them would make the Liverpool team!
the tweet read, below a wide-smiling Klopp.
Everton had just announced the signing of former Barcelona and Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez, a Spain Under-21 international, who has been around for some years now, but he’s still 21, and definitely not a bad signing for Everton.
Soon after Carragher’s tweet, the Toffees announced their fifth addition this summer, center-back Michael Keane, from Burnley, an England international.
Earlier this summer, Everton had welcomed Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Henry Onyekuru as well, but none all these signings seems to have impressed the always on the lookout to find a reason to tease Liverpool’s city rivals Carragher.
