They haven’t denied that they are interested in signing Alexis Sanchez, but what is for sure is that they will not pay the money Arsenal seem to demand to allow their star striker to leave a year before his contract at Emirates expires.
You don’t have to get involved into every bit of nonsense the English start. It’s not like they only drive on the wrong side of the road
Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Suddeutsche Zeitung, commenting on reports that signing Sanchez would cost the German side close to 100 million euros.
Sanchez’s agent was in Munich recently, to celebrate Arturo Vidal’s birthday, and according to reports, he also discussed the possibility of arranging a deal between Bayern and Arsenal.
As for what Bayern are looking for in the next transfer period, Rummenigge was very clear.
At our level, quality is the top priority. We have a clearly defined plan of action
he said. The Bundesliga champions have already secured the services of Hoffenheim duo Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy, but, as Rummenigge put it,
of course we are not finished yet.
More signings are about to come.
