Two photos for you today, as we continue our theme of the authorities interacting with football fans. The first is from Inter vs. Palmeiras in the Brazilian league, November 2007. The second (click the link below to see it) is a remarkably similar shot also from Brazil, as Grêmio took on Santos in June.
In the second of our police series this week, we see that sometimes football fans and the authorities can get on — here are Espanyol supporters being greeted by the Scottish police at the 2007 Uefa Cup Final at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

This week, Photo Daily will look at a sadly ubiquitous presence around football worldwide — the police. Today, we see the police in London herding the Swansea supporters heading for Victoria Coach Station, after Millwall had beaten the Welsh team 2-0 last March.
