Ah, home sweet home! I live in the States now but am from near Barnsley and am hoping to enter the hallowed portals of Oakwell and relive my youth (Tony Leighton was the big star back then – aging myself a bit, aren’t I?!!??!) some time over Christmas and New Year when I’ll be home visiting my family. My mate’s Grandad was head groundsman back then so we used to get in for free and meet the players. Thanks for posting this and bringing back great memories. Come on, the Tykes!
