Read This: Brazil 6-5 Poland

Writing at Four Four Two, Paul Simpson has a superb retrospective on “the best World Cup game you never saw” (or more importantly, probably the best World Cup game you’ve never heard of): Brazil 6-5 Poland in 1938, with Polish forward Ernst Wilimowski managing to score four goals and end up on the losing side (the only player to date to achieve this).
