Back in the day, some indoor soccer teams drew more than the NBA teams that shared their arenas, i.e. the Chicago Sting used to fill the old Chicago Stadium, while the Chicago Bulls (before Michael Jordan) couldn’t.

Unforunately, the indoor leagues shattered and splintered and the league(s) aren’t on solid footing. Perhaps if they made Peter Wilt commissioner …

I didn’t know indoor soccer was so popular in the US! I can’t imagine even 100 people attending an indoor game in Australia. Thousands of people play it here (including myself), but there are no professional leagues or even semi-pro ones where actual “supporters” watch a game.

Evan Eleven, NASL attendance would be comparable w/a comparable staff/effort/funding. Same org shouldn’t do both tho as it would dilute effortand resources.
