If UEFA or the national associations are trying to avoid the formation of a European super league, this kind of nonsense is exactly how it will wind up being created. It should be a reminder that certain restrictions and regulation make an awful lot of sense after all -- and it's no wonder Ivan Gazidis, Don Garber's right-hand man for many years, got hired by Arsenal and has already earned a lot of respect there, including from the supporters' trust. The model of MLS and perhaps even more importantly, the NFL is looked at very closely now in Europe (obviously the franchising part of it can fuck off, as far as I'm concerned!). Indeed, Dave.
