I agree with pretty much everything A. Ruiz says.

Unfortunately a lot of blame shifting is probably going to take place between the organisers, CAF and the Togo FA now. We’ll soon find out why this decision to travel by bus was taken though. I have my own suspicions but don’t want to throw accusations around irresponsibly at this time.

The BBC world service (radio) did a good job on covering it, they even aired an archived show on Canbinda. But then, they’re one of the last few outpost of actual journalism left in the world.

The facts coming out of it show a general lack of organization and communication between the Togo FA and Tournament organizers. If I were a member of another team, I would start questioning what else has been left to chance.
