Have you seen the scores for matches in Brazil & the Copa L? Ludicrously lopsided – obviously the leagues in SA are at the moment underdeveloped – you can’t even say that Marta or Cristiane’s performances there say much. I am with Shek on this – and complained about FIFA’s approach to the women’s award last year. Three women have been given this award in ten years. That’s just sheer laziness & bald insult to the women who play this game.
