What the Man City board put him through was nothing short of a disgrace on Saturday. I thought he conducted himself with great dignity. Pity the CIty board did not have the same values. For example, I understand the need for locker rooms to exist as a private sphere to shield players from the media, get focused, foster some sense of community, but simple privacy changes would allow LGBT athletes some serious breathing room. I played a sport at a university and my "hazing" was wearing a dress on all travel occasions - but I pulled the rug out with a simple question.
