Stadium Spotlight: RIP Ninian Park
Ninian Park, built in 1910, was the home of Cardiff City FC until earlier this year. The last ever game at Ninian Park was on April 25th, 2009, with Cardiff losing 3-0 to Ipswich Town.
Cardiff now play at Cardiff City Stadium, a 27,000 all-seater venue, and Ninian Park is currently being torn to pieces to be replaced by a housing development, as this week’s stadium spotlight shows.

What are they going to build there?
Darba- they are going to a build housing development, it says so in the article.
Although the bulding itself was pretty ugly it is always a bit sad to see something like this happen. I used to hang out there with my family, but I have to admit it was becoming a bit of an eyesore so perhaps it is time! Good luck to them and the new housing development!
