Passion for football/soccer is obvious with this Peter Wilt guy...
The professional indoor game has come and gone...possibly the best years are behind...the Wave are survivors but you need teams to play against.
The WPS is struggling financially. A league cannot survive with 1,000 paying fans per game.
The growth of the girls game is however now larger than the boys as numbers at the youth level support that fact.
Wilt and his passion and pull ,should be behind a "push" to begin looking to bring an MLS or second division/NASL (?) team to Milwakee. This takes years of organizing.

Peter is the best! The WAVE is lucky to get him. I am jealous. Maybe I need to stage a comeback. Peter, can you help me? Will work for a indoor soccer team for food!

I disagree that futsal is a non-starter. Why do people go to indoor soccer? Connection with the players ... faster pace than outdoor soccer ... overall promotion (music, giveaways etc.) ... group event/entertainment. None of these things change with futsal. It's now a game that kids are playing in their youth clubs, and it's got a true FIFA/US Soccer connection. Business-wise, it has some pluses: smaller rosters, potentially lower startup costs (no boards, glass or carpet) and you can play in places that aren't configured for hockey/soccer, so you have a little flexibility. Nothing's an easy sell, but don't dismiss it out of hand.
