Outrageous scenes - you can't create rules after the incident has happened. Eduardo was out of order, but this would create a dangerous precedent. For more visit http://thensaturdaycomes.wordpress.com - it includes a photoshop of Eduardo in Platoon!

blackedoutfriction -- yes, I'm resolutely opposed to football teams ever being moved. A team should be a club that's part of a community, not a Starbucks franchise that can be relocated anywhere.

There are only two ways to counter players who like to take dives. If the referee sees a dive, he must have the courage to give a yellow card to that player since that type of behavior is simply unacceptable. If the referee does not see the dive, video evidence must be used after the fact, and it can't be a slap on the wrist punishment. Players need to be given serious bans lasting a significant portion of the season. If this doesn't happen, it will just be like it already is (there is no real deterrent, cheating/diving provides significant benefit, any punishment that is doled out is nothing, i.e. 2 game ban).

Never move a club? I'm thinking the new San Jose club might need to be moved soon enough. That market stinks and Buck Shaw stadium is hurting the experience and growth of the club. I also wouldn't be against moving Chivas USA to San Diego.
