A new planning policy has been agreed by the local Authority to protect the ground in the LDP only for sport. This policy is on the way to the Welsh Assembly to be rubber stamped and made law by 2012. The petition reached a total of 10,162 signatures.

I've never had a chance to watch a match there, but I hope the ground can be protected. The Racecourse Ground has a proud history of hosting major Wales international matches over the years.
