I'm intrigued. It's really difficult with the sports documentary or the sports movie in general to find a fresh angle on the story, because the underdog story has been done to death. But it sounds like the filmmakers have something here.

the LIE team is remarcable....check out hoe FC Vaduz promoted to the Elite of Swiss football this season and also USV Eschen/Mauren to the 3rd League. there is true profesionalism there and i apreciate all those involved and suport LIE football as a whole...thank you for this film!

,,,,it is sad that one of the few problems with the film were from one of my compatriots...romania can only dream to acieve what this tiny and lovable nation did

There's an excellent doco about the N.Korean team going to the 1966 World Cup. It follows a similar line, its a fantastic film which shines a light on N Korea at the time, the less than glamourous national football side and the glamour of that particular world cup. The best part throughout the entire film, right up until the N.Koreans go back home, there's no mention of who won the world cup. An amazing feat considering it was 4 english men that made it.

Any idea when the Lichtenstein film will get a release in Australia? I'd really like to see it too.

Quote: There are obvious issues of national identity and without a league system the national team provides a rare opportunity to express what it means to be Liechtensteiner.

Mm. Wish I could say that about Canada.
