		<description>Interesting write-up. I&#039;ve never ever given thought to there being any kind of controversy involved with feminized sports merchandise. I&#039;ve just kind of seen it as pink customized jerseys on a woman tell me she&#039;s more into fashion than she is the sport&#039;s team itself. At least that&#039;s the impression I get and there&#039;s nothing wrong with that in my opinion. I never really gave it any thought until now though, interesting topic.</description>

I think you&#039;re absolutely right about the state of flux in which fan identities find themselves, and that it&#039;s also one of the reasons why football is such a fascinating thing to observe right now.  So much is up in the air; so much is being worked out.
