		<description>It&#039;s remarkable how long it takes people to realise the scale of disaster when it takes place in football. Or even if they do, continuing to play the game. The fact the European Cup final was played to a conclusion at the Heysel disaster still amazes me.</description>

		<description>I just saw a couple of pictures posted on Sportsline -- here&#039;s a shot of the collapsed stand:

The second one is a bit gruesome, as it depicts a few of the dead bodies lying on the ground, wrapped in plastic sheets. You probably get the idea.

What&#039;s astounding about this is that there were people who had no clue what had happened, or that match officials weren&#039;t notified. I guess it must have happened toward the end of the match.</description>
