		<description>AG, it looks like England (for example) will retain four places; however, the fourth-placed side will now have to go through two qualifying rounds instead of one as six Champions League group spots will be reserved for the lower ranked UEFA countries. A compromise that looks acceptable to both sides. I don't know the answer to your second question, though.

Except for one thing I don't understand, though.  If the big countries are getting to keep 4 spots, how is Platini going to hand out more spots to the smaller countries?  What's he going to do, add more spots in the group stages?

And another thing.  The other big UEFA vs G-14 row was the one over compensation for players lost on international duty.  I can't imagine the G-14 rolling over on that one as well.  Mightn't they retain some sort of organization just to deal with those kinds of issues?</description>
