I know virtually nothing about Indonesian football, yet am struck by the size and evident passion of the crowds in the last few pictures. Might they be a country to watch out for in future years when it comes to Asian competitions for clubs or national teams? Demographic trends would seem to be in their favour.
I agree, it’s been very interesting to see. If anyone knows more, leave a comment…
we have a 120.000 national stadium capacity, it’s been renovated for the asian cup, so now it’s only 98.876 capacity. next year we have Super League, Premiere Division, 1st division up to 3rd division.
we have 32 teams in premiere league (super league start next year consist of 8 teams from the best 8 of premiere league)
our supporters is the best in the world!!! i’ve proved it, I’ve been to england, 2 times world cup, germany, france, the netherlands, hungary, latvia, italy….but our passion is still the best, i thought european were the best….well they’re not :-p
a british friend told me that, “this is a football passion i’ve seen 15 years ago in england,” he might be right because i wasn’t there at that time
well mates….come and watch a game in indonesia, share our passion for the most beautiful game….the new religion
