    There is no club called “Stockholm”, just as there is no club called “London”.

    This is from the derby between Hammarby (two “a”s, no “e”) and AIK, two of the city’s Big Three (the third being Djurgarden). It was taken at the Rasunda in Solna, which is a bit interesting in and of itself, because both Hammarby and Djurgarden are forced to play the home legs of their derbies against AIK at AIK’s home ground, rather than in their more intimate home grounds. You can imagine how well this goes down with fans of the two clubs.

    And for a final North American angle, AEG have a significant minority interest in Hammarby.
