		<description>I get the feeling we&#039;ve been here before. If Pele, Beckenbauer, and assorted galacticos couldn&#039;t keep America interested in soccer 20 years ago, it&#039;s going to be a tough call for Beckham to do it today single-handed.

There&#039;s no doubt Beckham is a great ambassador for the sport, but I get the feeling that soccer will always be a minority sport for Americans - I hope I&#039;m wrong.</description>

I&#039;m sure he&#039;ll do his bit, but it&#039;ll take a lot more Beckhams to elevate the game to a high enough level for some people.</description>
