Tifo: A Primer

There was a time when I had no idea what tifo was - it’s not a style of supporting that English fans have embraced. Since it’s something that will come up repeatedly on this site, I may as well be sure everyone out there is familiar with it. The word itself comes from the Italian word for supporter (tifosi), but its meaning now refers to choreographed spectacles by supporters in the stands. Enjoy this fine videographical set of examples (which is really the reason for this entire post).
