It’s been a fun first week here: after we formally introduced ourselves and explained why we’re called pitchinvasion.net, we looked at video of those radical supporters of St Pauli and two sets of Italian ultras.

Our gaze also fell on some great photos: a sea of scarves, a young Arsenal supporter locked out of the ground and intense Polish pyro fans.

We also looked at MLS: we considered whether American media is “getting it”, looked at a good example of how they’re not and at the connection between elitism and soccer.
