Interesting to hear, Bob. They're definitely on my list of teams to watch around the world when I can afford to go around the world watching football...

They are an intriguing lot. When I was in Germany for the World Cup I was wandering around Hamburg's red light district looking for a bar where the Beatles played and I came across St. Pauli's stadium. It is an unimpressive place but the gift shop is worth a visit. Plenty of shirts and hats with slogans both political and thoughtful. I remember reading that they drew less fans when the team had success and reached the higher levels.
